Moving Forward

Hey Sol Warriors. This month we are going to talk about moving forward.

Have you ever just sat and thought about how you are stuck in one place? Every time you try to move forward you couldn't? Well, we are going to dig deep and figure out what is holding you in this place.

We have to understand that we go through things in life that we have no control over. The only thing that we have full control of is how we react to the things that happen to us. If we want to move forward then we have to let go of the hurt, pain, and negative things that we have encountered. We are NOT those things and those things do NOT define us. They may have made us the person that we are but it doesn't define who we are.

Take me for example, I am NOT my anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Yes, it has made me the person that I am today and I am more aware of the things that are around me but when you look at me you do not see that first hand. You see everything else that I am about because I refuse to allow those things to define me.

So these are a few steps that you can use to move forward and live a better fulling life for yourself.

  1. Figure out why you are at a standstill

  2. Ask yourself is this who I am or is this just a bump in the road?

  3. Write down the emotions that you feel about it

  4. Rip the paper up, burn it, and throw it away because it is no longer holding you back.

  5. Take that first step to freedom
