Changing Your Default Settings

Hey Sol Warriors!

Welcome to a new month. You know with a new month comes new goals and new abundances.

This week we are going to talk about changing your core settings or your default settings.

When we are growing we tend to learn as much information as we can. We are learning from our loved ones and our friends. We are stuck trying to figure out ourselves and we don't know who we are until our late twenties or early thirties. We know who we want to be but often we do not know how to get there. We have to understand that it is not a race. It doesn't matter how long it takes us to get there, just know that we will get there.

Once we believe within ourselves and truly believe it with our hearts we will change to be the person that we are destined to be. I am not sure if you believe in God but I do and the Bible verse that I live by is Jeremiah 29:11, and it says "For I know the plans I have for you. Not to forsaken you but to give you hope and a future." Whenever I get those self-doubts or when people are trying to bring me down or even if I am just having an off day I recite those words. Because I know who I am and who I want to be. Yes, I am a black woman but I am not your average black woman. I am not that stereotypical angry black woman. I am not the one that society tries to talk badly about because on the inside my core is not weak. It has to take a lot to get me to act that way. Now granted it still comes out at times but I know that it is my default setting trying to come back out and change who I am becoming. When that happens my default setting is trying to tell me that I shouldn't change because I am comfortable where I am. But if I am comfortable where I am then it is time to make me uncomfortable.

You cannot learn if there isn't anything for you to learn from. You are a warrior! It is time for you to change your core because if you notice that you are unhappy, looking for your peace, and always on edge then it is time. I was listening to this youtube video and he stated, "You need to go back and get your peace back. It doesn't matter if you lost it in a past relationship or back in 2018 but go back and get your peace back. Leave everything else behind, but grab your peace back!" If you do not have peace then it makes sense as to why you are unhappy and on edge. It makes sense why at night you tend to cry or even feel disconnected from others. You have to have peace from within. You are your biggest supporter. So tell yourself all of the things that you are proud of that you did. Stop looking for other people to reward you when you can do it yourself!

I'm not sure if you have seen the Netflix show Big Mouth but they brought in 2 new characters in season four called Tito, the anxiety mosquito, and Jean, the depression cat. I want you to know that you are bigger than them! Stop holding back and allowing them to take over your body and mind. You will become the person that you want to be and it will happen once YOU believe within your mind and your heart.

Your default settings have installed fear in you to the point that you are scared to change. You shouldn't live your life in fear, anxiety, or anything like that. You deserve to become the person you want to be and be able to do everything that you want to do. Let's change your core and have you getting to those places that you want to be! You will overcome everything that they try to throw in your way!
