New Month New Goals
Hey Sol Warriors!!! Happy April!
I know the first three months have been hectic as hell, but better days are coming!! I wanted to share a little insight with you all because I know we can all use a pick me up at this point in our lives. Even though times are hard and every time you get on social media it's talking about COVID-19 remember that you were brought into this world for a reason. It is okay to be stressed and worried, but do not allow that to take over your body. There is more to you than the things that we cannot control. This virus is not in our hands, but we can do what it takes to keep it under control. Which is staying inside, only going out when you absolutely need to, keeping good hygiene, and honestly being uplifting in this negative time. We cannot keep putting negative energy on top of more negative energy. Where is the positivity?
So what is on your "To-Do List" for the month of April?
Mines are to keeping writing, continue to push out my podcast, and figuring out my fears and overcoming them in the months to come.
So with that being said, I do have your quote of the month for you here today. It comes from the one and only Queen Latifah, "If we focus on our health, including our inner health, our self-esteem, and how we look at ourselves and our confidence level, we'll tend to be healthier people anyway, we'll tend to make better choices for our lives, for our bodies, we'll always be trying to learn more, and get better as time goes on."
When I read this quote it instantly reminded me that it all starts with YOU. You will always play a bigger role than you think. We have people who watch our every move and don't even know it. You inspire others just by living your regular daily life. So even though times are tough, remember that not only does someone have it worst than you but you are the reason that someone else is continuing to live.
If you need to talk to a counselor during this time please reach out to me and I will help you find one in your area!
