Hey Sol Warrior! Happy Monday! Wait it is still Monday huh? Don't mind me I am just up playing catch up. It's 11 pm where I am. lol How was your holiday weekend?
This week's topic is "Boundaries".
Today's topic is "What are Boundaries".
When you define boundaries it is a line that marks the limits of an area. We all have boundaries whether it is for relationships, jobs, businesses, et cetera. Boundaries help us draw the line between what we will do and will not do. We do not need to take on a lot of things when we are not even able to do the bare minimum for ourselves. I'm pretty sure someone is tired of me saying "You are important and so are your ideas". Well, add this to the list too, your boundaries matter just as much as your voice. Don't let anyone step over your boundaries. You know how we tend to shut down when we aren't being heard? The same thing applies but this time we are not stepping down! We are in control and we are choosing when and when not to respond to protect our mental health. If you know that you are not in the correct mental state to talk things through then set up your boundaries and tell others this "Hey I am not mentally here and I would appreciate it if you calmed down." You do not have to explain yourself to anyone. Set those boundaries and be happy.

As we start the new month remember when you are setting your goals, set your boundaries as well because they both go hand in hand for the things that you want to accomplish.
