Good morning, afternoon and/or evening Sol Warrior!!
I am back!! :)
How has everything been? How are you? How's your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing?
See me? I am doing A LOT better! This break was definitely needed for me. So anyway let's jump into today's topic!
Today's topic is about "Platonic Relationships"
"Love is something far more than the desire for sexual intercourse; it is the principal means of escape from the loneliness which afflicts most men and women throughout the greater part of their lives." ― Bertrand Russell
We all have a platonic relationship, whether it is with your best friend, coworker, associate, family member, et cetera. Platonic relationships are important for us to have because we have to have people in our corner who only wants the best for us without getting sexual. We need people who will uplift us and help us grow in areas we thought we would never be able to grow in. Without these relationships, we wouldn't be able to get the pressure for a lack of better words to go as hard as we do!
For example, I have a lot of platonic relationships. Each and every one of my friends hold me accountable to no return. They make sure that I blog, that I eat, that I feel my emotion, and make sure that I am okay. Honestly, I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them. I love them to no return because I do put a lot of pressure on myself and they sit there and make me understand that it is okay to breathe and take a break.
