Good morning, afternoon, and/or evening Sol Warriors!!
Happy Monday!! How was your weekend?!
Today's topic is about "Relationships"
Relationships can be the best thing or the worst thing that can happen to you but in every relationship, you should come out with a lesson learned. I have learned that relationships whether they are platonic, sexual, work-related, etc are all needed for everyone. When we form relationships we are networking and figuring out our likes and dislikes by the people we are now hanging around.
Think about it when you form a relationship you tend to figure out things about the other person and yourself. They could say something as simple as I don't like to eat meat and you can look at them the most disgust and say okay well now I know when we go out we need a special menu. Or when your coworker is trying to tell you something that you know you don't do so you try to tell them that you don't do that for your job and they get mad.
What I am trying to prove is that a relationship is a two-way street. You will need effective communication and an open mind. You have to stand on your values and understand theirs as well. It is a lot of giving and taking and if you aren't ready to sacrifice then don't try to make relationships.
